Quake City Rumble V

The Quake City Rumble is an annual race hosted by the SF Bike Messenger Association, dedicated to showcasing San Francisco to the greater messenger/cycling community that began in 2003. According to their site, “It’s as much competition as it is a celebration of the life and times of the SF messenger.”

July 3-6 marked the fifth running of the Quake City Rumble in San Francisco. Where male and female (apparently there weren’t any trans people racing – way to go Quake City!) winners got round trip tickets and entry into the North American Cycle Courier Championships in Chicago.

All proceeds from the race itself went to San Francisco Bike Messenger Association Broken Bones fund established to help local messengers with medical bills after an accident.

The URL on the artwork was wrong, making basic web searches for Quake City Rumble V tricky enough to piss off their sponsors. Agh, what can you do?
