Cycle for the Sea

Overlooking Devil\'s SlideAs cyclists, surfers and those lucky enough to live near the coast, we are all affected by the impact that environmental destruction has on our oceans.

We see it every day in the trash that washes up on Ocean Beach, erosion, ocean acidification and the all too ubiquitous signs that warn us of the ocean’s poor water quality.

But there’s something we can do about it. And it involves our bikes! Fellow riders, you are cordially invited to participate in the first Cycle for the Sea®, a group ride from San Francisco to Monterey on July 24th-27th.

We are working with the Surfrider Foundation to create an awesome awareness ride, filled with camping, beer tasting and good eating. Oh, and it’s van supported, but don’t worry, we off-set our emissions. This isn’t like the AIDS ride; it’s way more homegrown. And FUN! And still gets the point across. So sign up, tell some friends, grab your chamois butter and join us for the beautiful coastal ride.
