Tour de Fat: Update & Need-to-know!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to Saturday’s Tour de Fat to support the SFBC and enjoy the fun! To that guy who drank 4 beers before he came to Speedway Meadow at 11 am, I hope you got home alright. I was volunteering as a beer server and for those who haven’t ever worked a bar, here’s some news: giving people a beer is a feel-good transaction. One important tip… if you find yourself with those wooden nickels weighing down your pockets after Saturday, keep ‘em! They’re still good for a beer next year, at any Tour de Fat festival day in the country.

Alemany Farm has a volunteer work day every weekend, sure to be rewarded with some delicious produce!
